This is the last of our free IELTSpractice.com IELTS Study Guides. I hope they have been useful.
Today's issue tells you about the IELTS Speaking. We give you background preparation ideas and an important Dos and Don'ts list. We give you tips about calming your nerves, and speaking confidently in front of the examiner. What are you waiting for? Click the button below to check out your free Study Guide of the day!
'What if the examiner asks me about something I don't know?'
Try to use someone else's experience — if the examiner ask about movies and you don't like watching movies, you can tell her that you would like to talk about your brother's favourite film that he talks a lot about.
It is more important to know about the test structure than to know about a lot of different topics. Watch candidate videos in Road to IELTS to see other candidate's experience of the Speaking Test. You can take this information and use it to help you prepare.
Another strategy is to practise in simulated test conditions. Road to IELTS includes Speaking Test Part 2 Task Cards, a timer and a self-review panel. Grab a family member or a friend and get them to choose a task card, time yourself and listen to your speech.
Don't let all your studying go to waste. With IELTSpractice you will get practice tests, videos with tips from experts, countless interactive exercises.
Thank you for choosing IELTSpractice as your premier source of IELTS study materials. Best of luck with your test!
