IELTS Speaking: How to describe a thing you did to learn another language [ 📹 video]

Watch this new 1-minute video and find out how to describe a thing you did to learn another language

Hi Pelawat,

This cue card has been a problem for many test takers, who said they dread getting it in their Speaking test, because they aren't sure how to respond.

The cue card is,

Describe a thing you did to learn another language. You should say

- what language you learnt

- what you did

- how it helped you learn the language

- and explain how you felt about it.

Watch the video below to find out what you can say about a thing you did to learn another language:

Now choose a language that you would like to talk about. If you haven't learnt any languages, how about English? Think of some activities you are doing to prepare for IELTS, as they are directly related to learning English, too. For each activity think how it helped you with your language learning, and also how you feel about it.

Did you find this video helpful? Put a like to let me know 😉

What's next?

Pelawat, that's actually a question for YOU. Let me know what topic or question in Speaking scares you the most, and I will cover it in my next video.

Looking forward to your reply.

Warm regards,
