IELTS Speaking: How to describe something that surprised you [ 📹 video]

Watch this new 1-minute video and find out how to describe something that surprised you

Hi Pelawat,

This recent cue card about something that surprised you has many people scratching their heads. Let's make sure YOU are ready for it!

The cue card is,

Describe something that surprised you. You should say

- what it was

- how you found out about it

- what you did

- and explain how it made you feel.

Watch the video below to find out what you can say about something that surprised you:

Now think of a surprise that you would like to talk about. Who surprised you, and what happened? How did you find out? Do you remember what it felt like? Even if nothing comes to mind straight away, give it some time; I'm sure friends or family have arranged a secret party, an unexpected present or an out-of-the-blue experience for you at some point in life. People love doing this stuff!
