Fresh IELTS questions from Vietnam - February 2024 (Academic)

Our student MN took IELTS in Vietnam and remembered the following questions from his exam:

Preparation Tip: Set aside an hour of your time and write your own essay and report under timed conditions. Start by writing an essay (approximately 40 minutes) and then write a report using the rest of your time. Simulating real exam conditions will help you get better at time management and perform well under pressure. Submit your writing for correction and learn how to score higher.

Writing task 1 (a report)

The chart shows the distances traveled by passengers on 5 types of transport in the UK in 1990 and 2000. The data is presented in kilometres per person, per week.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Some people believe that the typical teaching situation of a teacher and students in the class will not exist by the year 2050. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
